Kenyan court punishes Aga Khan Hospital in Kenya
In a Medical negligence case, the Court of Appeal in Kenya awarded a substantial amount of Kshs.15,000,000.00 (over US$100,000) to the claimant, setting aside the initial award of Kshs.800,000.00 by the high court. Additionally, the Court awarded Kshs.7,800,000.00 (US$53,980) for future medical expenses, on top of out-of-pocket expenses.
